Where & When
Where is Helensburgh AAC located?
Helensburgh AAC is based in Helensburgh, Argyll and Bute, about 25 miles west of Glasgow. Helensburgh AAC has a modern Clubhouse (opened in 2000), sited in the grounds of the old Hermitage Academy, on the eastern edge of Helensburgh, just off the A814. If you are arriving from Dumbarton/Cardross, the old academy is on the right-hand side of the dual carriageway about 1/4 mile after the new school. If arriving from Helensburgh town centre, travel along East Clyde Street (also on the A814) for about 1 mile and the old academy is on the left-hand side – the first-left after the County Hotel.
The Clubhouse is also very conveniently located for Craigendoran train station. Craigendoran is a 45 minute train ride from Glasgow Queen Steet train station.
